Wiginton Fire Systems, a leader in fire protection, is seeking motivated individuals to train as Fire Alarm Service Technicians in our Sanford (Orlando) location.

Are you mechanically inclined and eager to build a rewarding career in a vital industry? Join our team as a Trainee/Apprentice Fire Alarm Service Technician and gain hands-on experience in fire protection. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you'll learn to service, repair, and install fire alarm systems and other essential fire safety equipment. Your role will include assisting with on-site service calls, developing troubleshooting and programming skills, and mastering proper documentation procedures. Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • License: Valid driver’s license.
  • Physical Requirements: Comfortable working at heights, working outside, and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background screening.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Electronics, tools, equipment, and installation procedures.
  • Problem-solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
