Electrical Apprentices - Parker, Colorado (Job Number: 973523)

Job Overview: An Electrical Apprentice works under the supervision of licensed electricians to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in the field. Is responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks including install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Electrical Apprentices earn between $25 - $34 per hour.

Job Functions:

  • Help install and repair wiring systems, electrical fixtures, and equipment.
  • Installing conduits including bending, cutting and threading up to 4 inch diameter rigid steel to hold electrical wires and cables
  • Replacing conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed.
  • Installing conductors, terminating (SES, panel boards, motor controls, PLC's, instruments, and junction boxes).
  • Learn to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, blueprints, and electrical codes.
  • Have good basic understanding of NFPA70E and the NEC.

Qualifications:

  • Education : Must be enrolled in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or willing to enroll once hired. PCL will sponsor you in an apprenticeship program.
  • Basic Knowledge : Understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
  • Communication : Good communication skills for effective collaboration and learning.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rugged terrain and construction sites. Capable of performing tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
