Branch is searching for an experienced and safety-oriented Mechanic to join our well-established, growing company. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic II is a skilled journey-level position responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy construction equipment. This role requires troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and the capability to train and mentor entry-level mechanics.
Salary Min: $62,167
Salary Max: $106,550
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
