Job Description

Data Analyst / Python Developer to build and deliver analyses of time-series machines sensor data to better understanding our customers and drive enterprise value.

Responsibilities Include
  • Work in a team environment to develop and deploy algorithms in Python to analyze machine sensor data. Work with business partners to define data analysis needs and validate results.
  • Position is ideally open for candidates near Peoria, Champaign, or Chicago for onsite once a month. 100% remote candidates will be considered, please note preference at top of resume.
Education
  • Required: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience
  • Desired Top Candidate - Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (e.g. Electrical or Computer Engineering, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with programming experience, or related fields) plus 3+ years exp
Technical Skills Required

Required:

  • 5 or more years of significant project experience developing and productionizing Python code
  • 1+ years exp with AWS (Cloud computing) and Azure Devops CI/CD
  • 2+ years experience with data structures and programming in SQL
Desired Technical Skills:
  • Experience analyzing time-series machine sensor data (IoT data) to solve product problems
  • Experience using common Python based data analysis libraries (eg. NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib, etc)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • Understanding of complex electro-mechanical systems (engines, drivetrain, hydraulics, controls, structures, etc.
