A day in your first 90 days

Imagine starting your shift reviewing the production schedule, preparing a machine for the first run, and completing a smooth changeover before the next order. Alongside an experienced mentor, you verify safety features, run test pieces, fine-tune settings, and monitor output so the line runs cleanly. What you will do
  • Prepare and set up production equipment for daily operations
  • Execute product changeovers and line setups
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during production runs
  • Support basic maintenance tasks and small repairs
  • Collaborate with the production team to reduce downtime
  • Verify that machines operate safely and efficiently
Training and growth

This is a training role designed for long-term development. You will receive hands-on coaching to build the skills required for advanced machine setup and maintenance responsibilities.

What you bring

  • Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn
  • Resourceful troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
  • Reliable, positive, and safety conscious
  • Comfort working both independently and with a team
  • Basic mechanical or electrical know-how is a plus, not required

  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
  • Conveyor Systems
  • Servo Motors
Why this role

If you enjoy working with machinery and want a clear path to expand your technical abilities, this apprenticeship will help you grow into a trusted setup and maintenance professional in Elmhurst.
