Job description

Glenn Fricker Construction is looking for a motivated apprentice carpenter with approximately 1–2 years of construction experience to join our small residential construction team in Western Sonoma County.


We specialize in residential remodeling and new home construction, and because we are a small company, our employees are involved in nearly every stage of the building process. This is a great position for someone who wants to become a well-rounded carpenter and learn how a house is built from start to finish.


What You'll Do

As an apprentice carpenter, you will work directly alongside experienced carpenters and be involved in:

  • Demolition and site preparation
  • Rough carpentry and framing
  • Finish carpentry
  • Material pickup, delivery, and jobsite organization
  • Driving a company truck as part of daily operations
  • Assisting with tools, equipment, and jobsite setup
  • Working alongside and assisting with the coordination of subcontractors
  • General construction and problem solving throughout all stages of residential projects

As your skills develop, you will be given increasing responsibility and the opportunity to take on more advanced carpentry work.
