Job description

Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience developing and modifying tools and dies, as well as operating and maintaining manual and CNC machines. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality in tool and die fabrication and maintenance.

Pay range: $38.00-42.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings to develop and modify tools and dies.
  • Operate and maintain manual and CNC machines, including lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and test tools and dies to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Perform repairs and adjustments on worn or damaged tooling.
  • Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to meet project specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using CAD/CAM software.
  • Skilled in operating precision machinery and hand tools.
  • Strong understanding of metal properties and machining techniques.
