You'll start with a full day of safety training, then work directly with experienced carpenters, gaining valuable trade knowledge and building a path toward becoming a lead installer.

We're a trusted builder of sunrooms, screen enclosures, and pool cages - and we take as much pride in our team's success as we do in our craftsmanship.

What You'll Be Doing

From Day One, you'll be set up for success. After completing safety training, you'll get hands-on experience alongside a Senior Carpenter, learning professional installation techniques while helping build custom enclosures and sunrooms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with installations on active job sites

  • Learning building codes, construction methods, and precision measuring skills

  • Preparing and organizing tools and materials in the shop

  • Safely operating power tools under supervision

  • Communicating professionally with customers when needed

  • Growing your skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment

What We're Looking For
  • 1-2+ years of construction experience (general construction, carpentry, framing, windows, roofing, etc. - sunroom experience not required)

  • Reliable transportation and punctuality

  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying conditions

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and positive attitude

  • Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test

What You'll Get
  • Pay: $18-$23 per hour based on experience

  • Bonuses: Annual, anniversary, and performance-based

  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (individual and family plans)

  • Company-provided tools, equipment, and transportation

  • Paid holidays and vacation

  • Stable, year-round work with opportunities for advancement

Why Work at DC Enclosures?

We don't just build sunrooms - we build careers. Many of our lead installers started as apprentices, and we love promoting from within. You'll join a close-knit, supportive crew that values quality craftsmanship and helps each other succeed.
