The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician Associate will spend up to 6 months working alongside Automotive Technicians to learn and gain experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles across several manufacturer lines until they have gained the necessary qualifications to become an Automotive Technician.
The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, nights, and some holidays depending on business demand.
This position is located at our Service Center at 2780 Richmond Highway Arlington, VA 22202.
This pay for this position starts at $28 / hour (1 ASE minimum). In addition, you can earn an additional $3.50 / hour with the Virginia State Inspection and an additional $1.50 / hour for ASE certifications beyond the required minimum of 1. The maximum pay for this position is $34.50 / hour.

Responsibilities
We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
  • Work alongside an experienced auto technician as directed by supervisor or manager, to gain experience in the following areas:
  • Ensure that all mechanical repairs are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines
  • Complete manufacturer required training and perform warranty and recall repairs according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.
  • Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training
  • Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
  • Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures
  • Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services
  • Utilize multiple manufacturers' websites, software and diagnostic tools
  • May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy backs
  • Update job knowledge by participating in company and manufacturer approved training or other industry related training
  • Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standards
  • Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards
  • Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications
  • Two years of automotive repair training at an accredited technical/trade school OR a minimum of one year of repair experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles.
  • At least 1 current and valid ASE certification required (A1-A8, L1 or L3).
  • Must be willing to work toward 4 ASE certifications for promotional opportunities
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license
  • Must have a satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years, no DUI or DWI on driving record in the last 3 years) employment reference, education and social security.
  • Virgina State Inspection license (preferred, but required within first 90 day of employment)
  • Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
