Job description

We're looking for an Apprentice Auto Body Painter who is motivated to learn, takes pride in producing exceptional work, and wants to build a long-term career in the collision repair industry. Whether you're just entering the trade or have some hands-on experience, we'll provide the mentorship, training, and equipment needed to help you succeed.

What You'll Learn

Working alongside experienced refinish technicians, you'll develop the skills to:

  • Prepare vehicles and parts for refinishing.
  • Sand, feather-edge, mask, and clean repair areas.
  • Mix and apply automotive primers, sealers, and paint products.
  • Assist with colour matching and blending techniques.
  • Maintain spray booth cleanliness and painting equipment.
  • Perform polishing and finishing procedures.
  • Follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required

  • Diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • Valid G Class driver's license with a clean driving abstract.

  • Ability to accurately follow written procedures and instructions.
  • Comfortable using tablets, computers, and digital repair documentation.

What Will Set You Apart
  • Previous experience detailing vehicles.
  • Experience sanding, masking, polishing, or paint preparation.
  • Completion of an automotive, body repair, or refinishing program.
  • I-CAR training or other industry certifications.
