Job description

Job Title: Auto Detailer Assistant / Apprentice
Department: Parkside Detail / Reconditioning Dept
Supervisor: Curtis Price
Schedule/Hours: Rotating Shifts
Summary: We are seeking hard working and dependable individuals to join our team as Auto Detailer Assistant / Apprentice. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned quickly, efficiently, and to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service. You will learn the process we use to clean the vehicles to the highest of standards with opportunity for advancement. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a team.
Essential Duties:
โ€ข Wash, dry and clean vehicle exteriors using automated and manual methods
โ€ข Vacuum interiors and wipe down dashboards, consoles, and door panels
โ€ข Clean windows, mirrors, and tires to a spotless shine
โ€ข Apply waxes, protectants, and tires shine as needed
โ€ข Guide vehicles safely into the wash tunnel when required
โ€ข Maintain cleanliness of the wash area, equipment, and workstations
โ€ข Follow all safety procedures and company policies
โ€ข Other duties assigned by manager
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualifications, Experience, Education, Certificates, Licenses, ETC:
High School Graduate or GED
Previous car wash or auto detailing experience is a plus but not required
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management skills
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
Skills/Reasoning Ability/Performance Expectations:
Knowledge of cleaning products and detailing techniques
Ability to operate detailing equipment (buffers, vacuums, pressure washers)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Customer service skills
Ability to follow instructions and company standards
