Job Description Summary 
Are you a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our plant assets. You'll be the go-to expert for mechanical troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and equipment optimization. Work alongside a dynamic team and utilize your skills in maintenance, machining, and training to keep our operations running smoothly.

  • Pay: $40.05hr
  • Training Shift: Monday-Friday first 90days 7am-330pm
  • After Training Schedule: 3 Days on 3 Days off-you will be awarded either night or days shift based upon seniority after traning.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in safety and good housekeeping programs.
  • Adhere to environmental regulations and respond to emergencies safely.
  • Install, fabricate, repair, and maintain equipment and machinery.
  • Utilize diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering drawings for tasks.
  • Perform carpentry, plumbing, and work with power and hand tools.
  • Install and repair locks, door closers, and related hardware.
  • Insulate pipes, ducts, furnaces, tanks, ovens, walls, and ceilings.
  • Erect and work from rigging, scaffolding, and ladders.
  • Maintain and repair auto equipment and internal combustion machines.
  • Perform electric arc and acetylene welding and cutting.
  • Lead, assist, and train Mechanic apprentices.
  • Inspect wells and take water samples.
  • Assemble or rebuild equipment and parts.
  • Perform duties of a Sheet Metal Worker and operate machine shop equipment.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to secure and maintain a forklift driver's license.

Computer and Software Competencies

  • Operate a computer.
  • Learn the SAP system for parts requests.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-4 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright.
  • Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be drug and alcohol-free.
  • Ability to secure and maintain a forklift driver's license.

Essential Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Exposure to temperature extremes and noise levels.
  • Prolonged sitting or standing for 8-hour shifts (and/or rotating shifts).
  • Bending, twisting, handling, and controlling objects, tools, or controls.
  • Lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular attendance on-site and ability to work varying or rotating shifts.
  • Wearing respirator protection.
  • Participation in safety and good housekeeping programs.
