Lowery Property Advisors (LPA) is a privately held commercial real estate valuation firm headquartered in Irving, Texas, with offices in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Georgia. We specialize in valuation, appraisal, market research, feasibility, property tax consulting, right-of-way and eminent domain appraisals, litigation support, and expert witness testimony. Our clients range from local to international lenders, investors, government agencies (including TxDOT), tax and law firms, and owner-users. LPA handles diverse property types, including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, special-use, mixed-use, development land, and going concern valuations.

Position

LPA is seeking an experienced and driven Managing Director to lead our Denver Colorado office. This senior leadership position requires a highly motivated appraisal professional who is capable of managing a team of valuation staff while also maintaining their own pipeline of appraisal and consulting assignments. The Managing Director will be responsible for local team development, workflow oversight, quality control, client relationship management, and business development efforts in the Denver Colorado region. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to shape the growth and performance of the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily operations of the Denver office
  • Oversee and mentor a team of associates, providing guidance, training, and performance management
  • Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of valuation reports
  • Manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to expanding the firm’s regional presence
  • Coordinate workflow and project assignments to maximize team efficiency
  • Foster a collaborative and professional team culture aligned with LPA’s core values
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of commercial real estate appraisal experience, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
  • Experience managing direct reports and balancing leadership with personal productionStrong knowledge of the Colorado real estate market, especially the Denver area
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows OS
  • Familiarity with CoStar and other commercial real estate data platforms
  • Experience with Argus or other DCF modeling software preferred
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • MAI PREFERRED
