Job description

Job Duties: Associate, External Product Specialists with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Richardson, Texas. Support product and marketing teams to develop and execute research plans to analyze customer preferences and behaviors and market activity to inform and define potential new products and features. Determine incremental value generated via marketing campaigns and targeting tests of different customers. Synthesize insights from data analytics into key findings and actionable business items for leadership and key stakeholders. Apply consumer financial services industry experience and analytical skill sets to drive the analytics strategy, data infrastructure, and model development to drive growth and engagement of our Savings & CD products. Analyze customer journeys across digital touchpoints (Web, Mobile, etc.) and make recommendations to improve customer experience. Evaluate and monitor split tests (A/B tests) as part of our test and learn acquisition and retention strategies with the ability to demonstrate statistical significance testing. Build automated reporting/measurement, advance tools and models to gain customer insights, draw conclusions and work with business partners to put those insights into action. Leverage business partners, technology and modelling teams to evaluate new and alternate data sources as well as analytical tools. Conduct split and multivariate testing and analytics that support multi-channel customer retention strategies. Develop customer segmentation and framework to measure the lifetime value of customers with savings products. Develop measurement framework and dashboards to track the success of our product and marketing campaigns, monitoring and improving KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and operational performance metrics and researching business and industry trends to set benchmarks.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in a related role or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or in a related role. Prior employment must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master's) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's) with: synthesizing and presenting key insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership; using one or more of the following mainstream programming languages: Python, Java, C, Scala, Alteryx, C++, or Presto; developing data visualizations via Tableau or Power BI; working with large data sets and Big Data tools and stack, including SQL or Hadoop; making recommendations to enhance data processes within Oracle, Sybase, or Snowflake to improve application of data in making business decisions; and customer segmentation and applying appropriate machine learning techniques including regression, classification, clustering, or NLP.
