The Senior Analyst, Revenue Management is responsible for executing and continuously optimizing SROA's Existing Customer Rate Increase (ECRI) and Promotional strategies. This role combines strong analytical and technical skills with a naturally curious, problem-solving mindset to identify revenue opportunities through customer pricing, promotions, and demand analysis.

Working closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Technology, and Operations, this individual leverages SQL, Python, and large datasets to execute pricing strategies, evaluate performance, and uncover insights that translate into measurable business results. The ideal candidate enjoys digging into data, challenging assumptions, and continuously improving how the business makes pricing and revenue decisions.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and continuous optimization of ECRI and Promotional strategies through data-driven analysis, testing, performance monitoring, and business recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain analytical solutions using SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI to support pricing decisions, reporting, automation, and the internally developed ECRI model.
  • Analyze pricing, customer behavior, demand, occupancy, revenue, competition, and market trends to identify opportunities and provide actionable insights that improve portfolio performance.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Data Science to improve promotional effectiveness, pricing execution, and overall revenue performance.
  • Design, automate, and continuously improve reporting, analytical tools, and business processes that increase operational efficiency and support executive decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent analytical work experience).
  • Strong SQL and Python skills with demonstrated experience querying, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting and data visualization tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable business recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Naturally curious and intellectually driven, with a passion for exploring data, challenging assumptions, and continuously improving business performance through analytics.
