Job description

Applied Composites (AC) is seeking a Master Scheduler who will create, integrate, and manage production schedules to ensure that the manufacturing capacity meets current customer demand. This process will entail partnering with Program Management and Operations to integrate multiple program requirements into an integrated schedule. Partnering with Operations the schedule will be resource loaded with appropriate labor and equipment to meet customer demand at the lowest cost. Additionally, the Master Scheduler will advise manufacturing on the necessary prioritization within the schedule supporting changing demand.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Partnering with Program Management and Operations to develop an integrated site schedule
  • Develop and maintain a process to manage capacity planning
  • Manage the site sales and operation planning process
  • Provide capacity analysis in support of proposals
  • Support trade study’s and analysis

Job Specifications:
Education:
A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years’ Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Skills:

  • Previous experience with planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced MS Office skills – including MS Project
  • Previous ERP System management experience highly preferred
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced production environment with high quality requirements; example military, aerospace, or medical equipment highly preferred
  • Experience in a high mix product development environment or demonstrated ability to support similar environment
  • Able to perform basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Proven track record of supporting stringent deadlines and handling multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Skilled problem-solver: Exercises judgment, based on previous experience, practices and precedents, to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent
  • Lean Manufacturing experience is an advantage
  • Composite manufacturing experience is an advantage
  • Effective oral and written communication
