The Applied Research Mathematician will plan, develop, coordinate, and perform work involving the development and application of mathematical methods to solve complex problems across a variety of subject areas. Work requires applying rigorous mathematical reasoning, analytic techniques, and efficient problem-solving approaches to produce logically sound and defensible results. This role will leverage advanced mathematics, algorithm development, and modeling techniques to support mission-driven analysis and research efforts. Responsibilities: * Experience with mathematical modeling, algorithm development, and analytic problem-solving
* Strong foundation in advanced mathematics, including areas such as discrete mathematics, linear algebra, probability, and statistics
