Pay: $19.11 - $20.49 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY
Loads, unloads, moves and cleans materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly condition work area.

HOW YOU WILL ADD VALUE:
1. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
2. Opens containers.
3. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
4. Installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage
in transit.
5. Moves materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
6. Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production
sheet.
7. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other
containers.
8. Operate and maintain SmartSkim, or coolant recycling system.
9. Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to
assist machine operators.
10. Cleans materials by hand or with cleaning equipment.
11. Immerses objects in washing and rinsing solutions to remove debris.
12. Fills tanks with water to specified level. Pours specified quantity of soap or chemicals into water.
13. Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
14. Maintains equipment and working area in a clean and orderly condition.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); up to one month of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability
to use simple mathematical and geometric devices, such as, calculators, calipers, scales, measuring
tapes, etc.
