Essential Responsibilities:
Help Shape the Future of Semiconductor Innovation
GlobalFoundries is looking for a proven Field Application Engineering leader to drive technical engagement and design win strategy across our most strategic U.S. accounts.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, business, and customer success. You will lead a team of Field Application Engineers responsible for helping customers solve complex challenges, accelerating design wins, shaping technology roadmaps, and converting opportunities into long-term revenue growth.
You will partner with some of the world's most innovative technology companies and work across AI infrastructure, mobile, networking, silicon photonics, advanced packaging, and power.
What You'll Do
Lead and Inspire
• Build, develop, and lead a world-class team of Field Application Engineers supporting GF's largest strategic accounts.
• Create a culture of accountability, technical excellence, collaboration, and customer obsession.
• Coach and develop future technical leaders while raising the talent bar across the organization.
Drive Growth
• Partner with Account Managers to identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities.
• Lead the technical strategy behind design wins and major customer engagements.
• Influence customer roadmaps and align GF's differentiated solutions to future market opportunities.
• Translate customer requirements into business opportunities that drive growth and market share.
Deliver Customer Success
• Lead customer engagements from initial evaluation through tapeout, production ramp, and lifecycle support.
• Anticipate and remove technical barriers that could impact customer success.
• Drive disciplined opportunity management, forecasting, and design win execution.
Build Strategic Relationships
• Develop trusted partnerships with engineering, architecture, product, operations, and executive leaders.
• Serve as a senior technical ambassador for GlobalFoundries.
• Represent GF at key customer engagements, industry events, and executive briefings.

• Deep understanding of semiconductor technologies, foundry ecosystems, design flows, and design-win processes.
• Proven success supporting strategic accounts.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
