This position combines market development, new product development execution, technical documentation, customer engagement, and commercialization activities while providing a clear path toward increasing ownership of market strategy, portfolio management, and roadmap planning.

This position operates at the intersection of Product Management and Applications Engineering, helping translate customer needs into structured product requirements while improving internal processes that support product launches, semi-custom solutions, and ongoing product line development. This role also plays a key part in early customer engagement and product launch execution, supporting initial sales efforts and ensuring successful adoption of new products in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Product Concept Slides to support customer engagement during Alpha and Beta phases
  • Support development and rollout of training materials for Sales and Applications teams

Customer Engagement & Product Launch Execution

  • Engage directly with target customers to present new product concepts, support evaluations, and help drive early design wins and initial orders
  • Participate in customer visits, on-site support, and technical discussions to ensure successful product introduction and adoption
  • Act as a bridge between customer feedback and internal teams during early sales cycles, ensuring rapid response and alignment
  • Support trade shows, customer demos, and marketing events to promote new product offerings and gather market feedback
  • Travel as required (up to ~30%) to support customer engagement, product launches, and cross-functional initiatives

Semi-Custom Product & Process Development

  • Help define and manage processes for semi-custom product requests, including:
    • NRE tracking and justification
    • Sample and demo unit coordination
    • Capturing reusable product configurations for future commercialization
  • Support development of a decision framework to determine when customer requests should be handled via:
    • Applications Engineering (quick-turn / semi-custom)

Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Support and build out Specification Documents, including backfilling gaps across existing product lines
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment between Product Management, Engineering, Applications, Sales, and Marketing

Applications & Commercialization Support

  • Lead organization and continuous improvement of product support resources, including:
    • Datasheets
    • Evaluation Kits (EVKs) and manuals
    • Customer-facing reports and FAQs
    • Sales and training materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field
  • 2-5 years of experience in:
    • Product Management, Applications Engineering, or Technical Project Management
  • Strong organizational and project tracking skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for technical content
  • Experience with customer-facing documentation (datasheets, presentations, reports) is a plus
