About the Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP):
Oracle is proud to sponsor an internship and integration program that exposes transitioning military veterans and active-duty Military Spouses new to the corporate culture, provides hands-on job-skill training and experience, and offers enhanced professional and personal development. Hourly wage is $30 per hour. This is a 40 hour per week position
Responsibilities
As a Solution Engineer Intern at Oracle, you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside our seasoned pre-sales consultants and contribute to customer engagements. This internship is designed to provide you with exposure to various aspects of pre-sales consulting, including product demonstrations, solution architecture, customer presentations, and technical sales support. You will have the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn from industry experts, and develop the skills needed to excel in a pre-sales consulting role.
Responsibilities:
1. Support pre-sales consultants in understanding customer requirements and translating them into effective technology solutions.
2. Assist in the preparation and delivery of compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
3. Collaborate with the pre-sales team to develop customized solutions, addressing customer challenges and objectives.
4. Assist in technical sales support activities, including product configuration, proof-of-concept development, and solution testing.
5. Contribute to the creation of high-quality sales collateral, including proposals, whitepapers, and case studies.
6. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, Oracle products, and competitive offerings.
7. Support the pre-sales team in providing post-sales technical support and addressing customer inquiries.
Requirements:

US: Hiring Range in USD from $18.17 to $34.62 per hour; from: $37,800 to $72,000 per annum.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
