Job description

Warehouse Picker/Packer

The Warehouse Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations through the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory management of critical spare parts, filters, and tools.

The Warehouse Picker/Packer ensures inventory accuracy, proper material handling, and compliance with established safety and quality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet productivity and service-level objectives, and a commitment to maintaining an orderly and secure warehouse operation. Responsibilities also include tool control and oversight, inventory transactions, stock replenishment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and stage materials accurately for shipment or distribution.

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory and critical spare parts.

  • Issue materials, filters, and tools in accordance with established procedures.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and audits.

  • Ensure proper tool accountability and oversight.

  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience preferred.

  • Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic math and reading skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb as required.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
