Job description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems. This role contributes to systems engineering activities across hardware, software, network, and Radio Frequency (RF) components supporting mission‑critical communication and signal processing environments. The ideal candidate has foundational experience in RF and signal processing systems development and demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Capabilities
  • Support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection‑based systems.
  • Contribute to systems engineering activities across hardware, software, network, and RF components to ensure operational performance and interoperability.
  • Assist in the development and integration of Radio Frequency (RF) and signal processing systems for communication system applications.
  • Support system requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, and validation activities.
  • Participate in system integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation to ensure compliance with technical and mission requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including system engineering artifacts, test plans, interface control documents, and configuration management records.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support lifecycle sustainment activities.
Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline. Five (5) additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Pay Range: $34.96 - $106.10 per hour*

Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
