Job description

Project Manager.Our Client is seeking experienced (5+ years) Application Project Managers (PMs) responsible for planning, managing, delivery and ongoing application support for IT initiatives for County departments and Agencies, including the implementation of and/or integration with COTS and SaaS vendor solutions as well as the development and enhancement of internally developed line-of-business applications. The Project Manager provides hands-on leadership, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and quality while applying a standard project management methodology and adapting delivery approaches as appropriate. Responsibilities include actively managing day-to-day project tasks, working closely with 4–8 technical and business team members, coordinating with vendors, and contributing directly to key deliverables (i.e., requirements, testing plans, and implementation documentation). The role also requires familiarity with shepherding initiatives through RFI/RFP processes in coordination with Purchasing and Legal, including requirements development, vendor engagement, evaluation support, and transition from award to implementation. Strong communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure adherence to established technical, security, and governance standards are required. Additional responsibilities include managing department customer relationships.
