Job Description
In this full-time position, the qualified candidate will demonstrate the following activities:
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning and implementation of client projects including the management of all project team resources and deliverables.
  • Effectively lead and manage multiple small to medium sized projects.
  • Work with BlueSky’s management team for resource planning and allocation across all projects.
  • Partner with Program/Project Sponsors to define baseline project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Create, update, and maintain critical documentation related to the project including charters, project plans, timelines, issue/risk logs and budgets.
  • Communicate project objectives, status, risks, issues, and tasks to project team, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Anticipate, identify, and address project risks and conflicts.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule and budget utilizing a formal change request process.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships with key decision makers.
  • Provide administrative and resource management for direct reports.
  • Limited travel may be required.
 
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in software project management; preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Superior consulting skills including the ability to identify and assess core business issues and then subsequently propose, communicate, and gain approval for practical and realistic solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience with various software development and project management methodologies and the ability to tailor them to a variety of corporate environments.
  • Experience managing projects encompassing the full software development lifecycle; preferable experience managing projects utilizing HCL Commerce software or equivalent commerce platform.
  • Ability to leverage organizational, time management, and communication skills in order to balance the demands of multiple on-going projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate the wide variety of personalities
  • Ability to negotiate and manage customer expectations including the ability to deliver difficult information tactfully.
  • Experienced in MS Project or other similar PM support application.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience required
