Job description

ECS is seeking a Project Manager to work in a hybrid schedule in our Arlington, VA office.
ECS seeks an experienced management professional to serve as a Project Manager. This is an important project for our company and for the federal government. In this role you will provide day-to-day management of one or more projects within the broader program. Specific responsibilities include:
  1. Leading and facilitating recurring working group sessions, ensuring clear objectives, structured agendas, and productive cross-functional collaboration
  2. Developing and tracking comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones to drive on time delivery across all work streams.
  3. Coordinate scheduling for multi-stakeholder meetings, and working groups including calendar management and logistics.
  4. Capture detailed meeting notes, decisions, risk and action items, and distribute summaries to stakeholders for alignment and follow-through
  5. Manage live meeting operations, including screen sharing, document walkthroughs and updates to project trackers or plans.
  6. Managing a matrixed team of technical resources to complete tasks and deliverables in compliance with Government requirements
  7. Engaging with members of our team, and the Customer to proactively seek ways to improve processes and implement best practices to fulfill program objectives, ensuring alignment to program values of transparency, inclusion and continuous improvement.

  • US citizenship and ability to acquire DHS Suitability.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing Project Schedules from scratch using MS Project or other scheduling tools
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional, matrixed teams to affectively achieve project outcomes in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated excellent project management capabilities including: ability to lead evaluation of scope, staffing, risk, dependencies, communications, and quality;
  • Demonstrated experience and success managing the development and operations of IT solutions in large and complex application environments, preferably for the Federal Government;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including customer and employee engagement
  • A demonstrated aptitude for complex problem solving, and leading teams to success.
