The ideal candidate brings experience in a technical leadership capacity and is skilled in managing complex, data-intensive platforms. This individual will collaborate closely with data providers and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues, while aligning SAvE operating practices with the broader Cross Enterprise Services (CES) organization.

What you have

Core Experience & Skills

  • 5–7 years of experience in production support, site reliability, or technical operations, supporting enterprise-grade applications within financial services or other highly regulated environments

  • Proven ability to lead complex incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and drive post-incident reviews across distributed and mainframe systems

  • Experience supporting back-office and client-facing financial platforms, including statements, trade confirmations, tax documentation, and regulatory reporting systems

  • Strong understanding of data archival principles, data lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance requirements

  • Ability to partner effectively with architects and product teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies impacting reporting deliverables

  • Demonstrated success collaborating with data providers, vendor partners, and cross-functional engineering teams to address data quality issues and pipeline gaps

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into concise, actionable updates for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience working within SRE or SAvE (Service Availability Engineering) models, with a strong focus on system availability, reliability, and continuous improvement

  • Proven ability to collaborate with product owners and business partners to identify data gaps and influence data providers to resolve discrepancies within source systems

  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Relationship-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and levels within the organization

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure automation

  • Strong aptitude for leveraging AI and automation to improve operational efficiency, including practical experience with tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code

  • Working knowledge of agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and custom AI instructions, with the ability to establish team-level best practices for AI-assisted solutions

  • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB), including the ability to troubleshoot data integrity issues across upstream and downstream systems

  • Proficiency with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or equivalent platforms
