By putting clients first and continuously innovating, we're working together to set the pace for unlocking new possibilities that better serve the property industry.

Job Description:

The Senior Product Manager (Semantic Platform) is responsible for defining and evolving an internal platform that enables Cotality to capture, catalog, and evaluate enterprise semantic context.

This role exists to transform fragmented, inconsistent semantic artifacts into a structured, reusable system that supports AI-enabled products and data consumption across the business. You will take ownership of a newly developed application at an early stage and drive its evolution from MVP to a usable, scalable platform.

You will partner closely with Architecture, Data Stewardship, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure the platform supports the needs of multiple semantic outputs (e.g., YAML files, MCP tools, agent-based assets) while maintaining a strong focus on usability, consistency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Cotality's Semantic Platform, aligned to enterprise priorities

  • Evaluate the current MVP against user needs and define a structured plan to improve usability, coverage, and adoption

  • Translate cross-functional use cases into scalable platform capabilities (not one-off solutions)

  • Ensure the platform supports the capture, cataloging, and evaluation of semantic context across domains

  • Establish and evolve the product-defined framework for evaluating semantic context quality (e.g., completeness, reusability, fitness for purpose)

  • Partner with Architecture/Technology to align on required semantic components while ensuring platform readiness to support them

  • Create and manage a clear intake and prioritization process for platform enhancements

  • Drive alignment across stakeholders including Data Stewardship, Engineering, Product teams, and SMEs

  • Operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment with competing inputs and evolving requirements

What Will You Be Doing?

In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate existing platform capabilities and identify gaps in user workflows, adoption, and scalability

  • Define and prioritize product enhancements to transition the platform from early-stage application to operational system

  • Work with engineering teams to deliver platform features that support multiple semantic artifact outputs

  • Develop frameworks and product features that enable consistent evaluation and scoring of semantic context

  • Collaborate with data stewards and SMEs to ensure the platform aligns to real-world usage without owning content creation

  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to balance competing priorities and establish a clear product direction

  • Monitor adoption, feedback, and usage patterns to continuously refine the product roadmap

Scope of Work

  • Operates with a high degree of autonomy in defining product direction and execution approach

  • Works closely with Architecture/Technology, Data Stewardship, and Engineering to align platform capabilities

  • Contributes to enterprise-wide standardization through product decisions and platform design

  • Responsible for product outcomes including usability, adoption, and platform effectiveness

Who Are You?

You are a product manager who thrives in building platforms in ambiguous environments. You are comfortable taking an early-stage product and shaping it into something practical, scalable, and widely adopted.

  • You bring strong product judgment and are comfortable making decisions without complete information

  • You are skilled at translating complex, technical concepts into clear product capabilities

  • You are comfortable navigating multiple stakeholders with competing priorities

  • You take ownership of outcomes and push for clarity, structure, and progress

  • You focus on usability and quality, even when building internal systems

Are You the Right Fit?

You will be successful in this role if you:

  • Enjoy working in early-stage environments where structure needs to be created

  • Are comfortable operating without a fully defined backlog or roadmap

  • Can influence cross-functional teams without direct authority

  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

  • Are motivated by solving complex platform and data problems

What Does Success Look Like?

Success in this role will include:

  • Cotality's Semantic Platform evolves from a functional MVP to a highly adopted operational tool

  • A clear, prioritized roadmap exists aligned to real user and business needs

  • A defined framework exists to evaluate and score semantic context within the platform

  • The platform supports semantic context for multiple business units with a path to scale

  • Stakeholders across the organization adopt the hub as the system for managing semantic context

Job Qualifications:

What Credentials Do You Need?

Required:

  • 7-10+ years of product management experience, with a focus on platform or data products

  • Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent work/industry experience; Master's preferred

  • Experience building or scaling internal platforms, developer tools, or data systems

  • Strong experience working with cross-functional technical teams (engineering, architecture, data)

  • Solid understanding of modern technology concepts related (e.g.,AI/ML, cloud computing, big data, Semantic Layers) sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineering partners

  • Proven ability to define product strategy and execute against a roadmap in ambiguous environments

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience

  • Analytical skills with an understanding of statistical models and how they are used in a product solution.

  • Extensive user interface design experience.
