Job description

dcbel Inc. (www.dcbel.energy) designs and sells residential products to make clean, efficient, and sustainable energy accessible to all - because everyone in the world deserves energy without compromise.

dcbel is at the leading edge of the residential energy revolution. Its products enable decentralized energy consumption and production through its vertically integrated suite of energy hardware and software products, and their supporting infrastructure.

Our flagship product, dcbel Ara, is a Home Energy Station that gives everyone ownership over their energy supply by using solar power to charge their EV and power their home, unlocking their EV's battery for blackout protection, backup power (V2H) and grid services (V2G), and optimizing the energy flow between their solar panels, EVs, stationary battery and the grid.

The opportunity

dcbel is seeking an Azure Ops Administrator, to ensure the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of our Azure platform, Entra ID environment, and network infrastructure, supporting secure and well-governed cloud adoption. The candidate will operate as second level of infrastructure operations and will be called on to assistant to the InfoSec group on their transformation requests. The position will also be accountable for FinOps activities regarding our Azure tenants.

Main responsibilities

  • Own Azure subscription operations: resource provisioning, RBAC, tagging, monitoring, backups, and operational hygiene.
  • Own identity and access operations through IAM systems: account lifecycle, groups, roles, etc.
  • Own endpoint management via Intune: device enrollment, compliance, configuration policies, update management and deploy security baselines.
  • Own application packaging and deployment through Intune, including packaging standards, testing, rollout, troubleshooting, and retirement in accordance with the Application Catalog.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec on Conditional Access, MFA, and privileged access management, implementation and maintenance.
  • Own cloud cost and licensing discipline: license assignment accuracy, Azure spend visibility, optimization actions, and reporting.
  • Own operational documentation, standards, and work instructions of owned domains.

Key requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience operating Microsoft cloud environments with real accountability.
  • Proven ownership of Entra ID: identity lifecycle, access governance, Conditional Access, and role management.
  • Handson experience managing Intune: device compliance, configuration, Autopilot (or structured enrollment), and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience packaging and deploying applications via Intune (Win32, detection rules, versioning).
  • Experience administering Azure subscriptions: RBAC, resource organization, monitoring, and operational support.
  • Demonstrated involvement in Azure cost control and licensing optimization, including analysis and corrective actions.
  • Experience supporting production environments where stability, security, and cost control matter.

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified:Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified:Endpoint Administrator (MD-102)
  • Microsoft Certified:Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300)
  • Microsoft Certified:Azure Architect (AZ-305) (asset)

Profile

  • Strong handson capability across Entra ID, Intune, and Azure administration in production environments.
  • Sound judgement balancing security, usability, and cost, with a clear understanding of risk and business impact.
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and resolve issues endtoend.
  • Ownership mindset: proactively identifies gaps, inefficiencies, and risks rather than reacting to tickets.
  • Comfortable collaborating with security, service desk, application owners, and finance/procurement.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell for automation and operational efficiency.

What's in it for you

  • Full benefits package including Health insurance, virtual healthcare, employee stock options plan, and more.
  • Be part of a company that is backed by numerous globally respected investors and has world-changing patents in an industry changing for the first time in history.
  • Grow your professional experience amongst blue chip partners and a close-knit team of committed and experienced energy experts who deeply care about the work they do.
  • Parking is available onsite or with our employer commute program a short walking distance from Metro Namur.
