Application Engineer

Autoliv's primary goal is to Save More Lives. Our products never get a second chance. This is why we can never compromise on quality. We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team.

This role is responsible for the development and execution of seatbelt application products.

In this role you will be responsible for
  • Creating / Validating Product Design for Seatbelts

  • Project Development: Lead, execute and support various project activities during technical critical phases of awarded programs.

  • Product validation per customer requirements in time to support production launch.

  • Develop designs that are aligned with the customer’s needs and Autoliv’s product/process roadmap

  • Working with the customer to negotiate styling vs. Autoliv standard design/processes.

What is required:
  • BS Mechanical Engineering

  • Seatbelt application or development engineering.

  • Test development and analysis.

  • Root cause and corrective action experience.

  • Product Experience (Seatbelts)

  • Design / CAD

  • Perform Tolerance Stack

  • Apply GD&T on Drawings

  • Ability to understand manufacturing needs

  • Problem Solving Skills
