Location: Oro Valley, Tuscon, AZ

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4:00

The Pharmacy Development Support Specialist plays a key role in advancing pharmacy business growth, operational support, and customer experience. This position partners closely with the Vice President of Pharmacy Services to support strategic initiatives, product development efforts, and operational execution.

The role also serves as the central point of contact for internal customer service inquiries and provides support for pharmacy-related systems, including the MDScripts application. Success in this position requires strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


  • Business Development and Strategic Support: 
    • Support the Vice President of Pharmacy Services in executing pharmacy business and product development initiatives.  Conduct research, analysis, and project coordination to support strategic growth opportunities. 
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, vendors, and partners. 
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and materials to support decision-making and business planning. 
  • Project Coordination and Administration: 
    • Coordinate meetings, document minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items. 
    • Track and support pharmacy development initiatives and MEP-related projects. 
    • Maintain and update state-specific in-office dispensing regulatory resources. 
    • Manage and enhance content on the MyConcentra Pharmacy portal. 
  • Customer Service and Operational Support: 
    • Serve as the primary contact for pharmacy-related inquiries from Concentra centers, onsite teams, and internal stakeholders.  Deliver timely, professional support via phone, email, and in-person interactions. 
    • Build strong relationships with clinical and operational teams to ensure high service levels and satisfaction. 
  • Systems and Technical Support: 
    • Act as the primary support resource for MDScripts users across the organization. 
    • Provide guidance and training on system functionality and workflows. 
    • Offer basic technical and desktop support for pharmacy-related applications and tools. 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: 
    • Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to support pharmacy operations and formulary management. 
    • Generate ad hoc reports and insights to support business needs and decision-making.

  • Education Details: Associate degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience required 
  • Training in Pharmacy Technology, Business Administration, or Administrative Support preferred
  • Certifications and/or Licenses: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
  • Active licensure (where applicable) with required continuing education 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative support, project coordination, or similar role 
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience 
  • Pharmacy technician experience preferred
