Amazonโ€™s Quantitative Business Intelligence Tools (QuBIT) team is seeking a highly talented and motivated Software Development Manager to lead software solution supporting applications for NACF and Beyond. This includes, but not limited to tools supporting Quality, and Safety impacting thousands of operators and associates.

A successful candidate for this role will have an established background in developing customer-facing experiences, strong technical ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment. The candidate must have the ability to collaborate closely on system requirements with our customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch.

About the team

QuBIT (Quantitative Business Intelligence Tools) designs and develops software solutions for Global Customer Fulfillment. Our mission is to deliver technical solutions which unify sources of truth, fill gaps visibility, and reduce operational complexity. We invest in incremental solutions, while iterating towards long-term objectives for our customers.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience
  • 3+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle experience
  • 5+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++ experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
