Application Development Engineer

What does a successful Application Development Engineer do at Fiserv?

As a successful Application Development Engineer, you will join a vibrant team focused on creating innovative solutions that streamline financial transactions and ensure security. You will drive designing, developing and maintaining applications that meet the dynamic needs of our clients.

What you will do:

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business initiatives

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

  • Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability

  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices

  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary

What you will need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in application development

  • 3+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages

  • 3+ years of experience in SQL databases

  • 3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure or GCP services

  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies

  • 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience

  • Experience in the financial services industry

Salary Range

$110,000.00 - $186,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
