Location: Forth Worth TX
Duration: 9 months
Required Experience & Expertise Must have expertise in at least one of the following: Avaya Aura (CM, SM, SMGR, AES, AADS) AudioCodes Client and Gateway Ribbon Client Genesys Cloud NetSapiens High School Diploma/GED: Minimum 3 years of direct experience OR Associate's Degree in IS: Minimum 2 years of direct experience

Job Summary:
Emerging IT professional within the Telecommunications family developing and applying technical expertise in one or more IT disciplines that support Cook Children's technical infrastructure.
Jobs in this family are responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, installing, and/or deploying technologies.
In addition, the role is responsible for the establishment, development, and promotion of standard architectures, as well as hardware and software components.
This role provides consulting services to application development teams and/or customers regarding technologies and the application of specific technology standards.

Job Responsibilities:
-Configure, repair and install telecommunications voice and data lines while adhering to code standards.
-Analyze and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure issues.
-Provide technical assistance to the community.
-Configure and support Nortel, Vocera, and Shortel telecommunications systems.
-Perform network switching and routing tier 1 troubleshooting.
-Develop, test, maintain, install, and/or deploy technologies supporting Cook Children's technical infrastructure.
-Support the establishment, development, and promotion of standard architectures, hardware components, and software components.
-Provide consulting services to application development teams and/or customers regarding technologies and specific technology standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
-At least three (3) years of direct experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
OR
-Associate's Degree in IS and at least two (2) years of direct experience.
-Developing and applying technical expertise in one or more IT disciplines that support technical infrastructure.
-Experience with configuration, repair and installation of telecommunications voice and data lines.
-Experience analyzing and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure issues.
-Experience providing technical assistance to the community.
-Experience configuring and supporting Nortel, Vocera, and Shortel telecommunications systems.
-Network switching and routing tier 1 troubleshooting experience.

Education:
-BA/BS degree in IS or Business.
