State Street Markets is the investment research and trading arm of State Street, providing specialized research, trading, securities lending and innovative portfolio strategies to owners and managers of institutional assets.

DMC Production Support is seeking a technical Production Application Support candidate to support FX business applications. The person in this position will be responsible for the active monitoring of trading, settlement and reporting applications as well as support of maintenance and application release activities. The person is this role will work directly with both the business and application development teams in addressing and resolving application issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct technical trading floor application support to our DMC business partners
  • Troubleshoot/analyze and triage application and trading issues
  • Monitor application environment for issues
  • Assist in application maintenance and deployment activities
  • Provide Disaster Recovery Testing support
  • Work in a 24x7 environment

Attributes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work with schedules / resources while remaining focused on team goals

Education & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, Windows and cloud computing
  • Working knowledge of Middleware (WebSphere, MQ Series, Autosys, etc.), and J2EE
  • Knowledge of Foreign Exchange/Equities/Securities Finance business process flows is a plus

Salary Range:

$52,000 - $91,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
