The Opportunity 

Management Solutions is seeking a Digital Solutions Developer – Power Pages & UX to provide specialized consulting support on a 1099 independent contractor basis. This opportunity is intended to support a multidisciplinary Digital Solutions team to transform complex portfolio management processes and information into an intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experience. 

This role combines deep Microsoft Power Pages and Power Platform expertise with strong user experience, front-end design, and hands-on implementation skills. You will take user needs, requirements, and design concepts and turn them into polished, secure, responsive solutions ready for real-world use.  

The anticipated level of effort for this opportunity is approximately 40 hours per week over an expected 6-to-9-month period. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Design and build public-facing solutions using Microsoft Power Pages, Dataverse, and the broader Power Platform. 

  • Translate requirements, wireframes, and user needs into polished, responsive digital experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and Power Pages capabilities. 

  • Apply user experience and human-centered design principles to simplify complex portfolio information, workflows, and interactions. 

  • Integrate Power Pages with Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, APIs, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise data sources. 

  • Configure and implement authentication, web roles, table permissions, and other Power Pages security capabilities. 

  • Collaborate with solution leads, analysts, designers, and developers to refine requirements, resolve technical challenges, and deliver working functionality. 

  • Participate in prototyping, demonstrations, testing, deployment, and iterative user feedback while ensuring accessibility, performance, security, and maintainability. 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience demonstrating expertise in the applicable field or area of consulting. 

  • Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing Microsoft Power Pages solutions. 

  • Strong front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and modern web development practices. 

  • Experience with Dataverse and Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate. 

  • Experience customizing Power Pages using Liquid, Web Templates, forms, lists, site settings, permissions, and related platform capabilities. 

  • Strong understanding of user experience and interaction design, with the ability to translate designs into intuitive, production-ready experiences. 

  • Experience integrating digital solutions with APIs, enterprise systems, or Microsoft services. 

  • Ability to independently take requirements or backlog items and deliver high-quality working functionality. 

  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills with attention to usability, accessibility, performance, and technical quality. 

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience delivering high-visibility public-facing government websites, portals, or digital services. 

  • Experience with Power Pages authentication, security architecture, external user scenarios, and Dataverse permissions. 

  • Understanding of Section 508, WCAG, responsive design, and accessible digital experience requirements. 

  • Experience with portfolio, program, project, or similar management solutions. 

  • Familiarity with Power Platform application lifecycle management, Azure DevOps, Git, and deployment practices. 

  • Experience working in federal government, consulting, professional services, or other regulated environments. 

  • Relevant Microsoft Power Platform certifications  

  • Active federal security clearance.

U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contracting and potential security requirements.
