Role: Senior Application Developer (Java/Linux/SWIFT)
Experience: 10โ€“12+ Years
Location: Boston, MA

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer with strong Linux OS and Java development experience to build, test, deploy, and support SWIFT network interface-related Unix applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment alongside highly skilled professionals delivering large-scale development initiatives. Experience with SWIFT messaging platforms is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, document, and implement large software deliverables.

  • Develop and support Java-based applications on Linux/Unix platforms.

  • Take ownership of applications, including upstream and downstream integrations.

  • Maintain and support existing software applications.

  • Identify and resolve complex application issues and bugs.

  • Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders on requirements, planning, and execution.

  • Implement and support CI/CD deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, or similar tools.

  • Ensure SLA compliance and operational excellence.

  • Advocate software development best practices and process improvements.

Required Skills
  • 10โ€“12+ years of software development experience.

  • Strong Java application development experience.

  • Extensive Linux/Unix experience with UNIX KSH scripting.

  • Deep hands-on expertise in Kubernetes.

  • Strong monitoring and observability experience.

  • Experience with GitHub and source code management systems.

  • Knowledge of SOA concepts and SDLC methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Experience with SWIFT messaging platforms and SWIFT network interfaces.

  • Knowledge of Tandem systems and related technologies.

  • Experience managing large-scale global software development initiatives.

  • Knowledge of SWIFT business processes is a plus.
