What is the 3 month rule for jobs?

The 3 month rule in the context of application development roles often refers to the typical probation or trial period, during which employers assess a new developer’s skills and fit for the team. Many companies expect new application developers to demonstrate their abilities within the first three months before offering permanent employment or benefits. This period also allows developers to familiarize themselves with the company's coding standards, tools, and workflows.
