Project Management Intern

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90065 (Onsite, full-time)

Start Date: Immediate (August 2026)
Internship Duration: Minimum 3-month commitment
Compensation: $25–$32/hour


About the Role

SprintRay is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Management Intern to support our Product Management hardware initiatives. This role is ideal for students in Product Development Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, or adjacent majors who want exposure in bridging the gap between technical innovation and operational excellence. This internship is designed to expose you to Project Management by ensuring that our hardware projects are documented, compliant, and sustained throughout their entire lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a high-tech environment and can translate complex technical discussions into clear, actionable project plans.


Key Responsibilities

The Project Management Intern will be responsible for supporting the execution of projects with a focus on regulatory compliance and long-term sustainment:

  • R&D Support: Coordinate and track daily activities for 5-10 person cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new hardware features and systems.

  • Regulatory Documentation: Create and manage relevant technical content and documentation required for regulatory compliance and hardware lifecycles.

  • Change Management: Identify gaps in workflows and operational procedures, implementing formal change management processes to ensure project stability.

  • Sustainment: Support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of existing hardware products to ensure high-quality results are delivered on schedule.

  • Technical Communication: Attend technical conversations to identify, document, and communicate action items to team members.

  • Reporting: Produce and present succinct reports to senior leadership regarding project progress, risks, and bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Technical Aptitude: Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex hardware problems, production issues, and regulatory certifications

  • Documentation Excellence: Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and manage digital files at an advanced level.

  • Communication: Essential verbal and written communication skills for collaborating across departments.
