Job Purpose and Impact

The Facilities Technical Leader provides thought leadership for maintaining, integrating and implementing software applications within the organization. As a recognized subject matter expert in the field, this job performs highly complex software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.

Key Accountabilities
  • APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Recommends and implements highly complex strategies for application configuration to align with business goals.
  • APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: Provides thought leadership and finds improvements for release management processes and the programming, configuration, testing and deployment of fixes or updates for application version releases.
  • USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Fosters an open channel of communication with users and provides advise on application support requests and needs.
  • APPLICATION SUPPORT: Develops advanced and complex application support activities to deliver on business outcomes.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Cultivates engagement with key internal and external partners, understanding their needs and maintaining effective communication to ensure project alignment and success.
  • INCIDENT & REQUEST MANAGEMENT: Leads efforts to review incoming incident tickets and user requests to ensure prioritization aligned with service level agreements.
  • VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Builds positive relationships with software vendors and negotiates relevant contracts.
  • PERFORMANCE MONITORING: Provides insights on the performance of configured applications and recommends adjustments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • APPLICATION PROCESSES & PROCEDURES: Identifies, recommends and implements improvements for moderate to advanced and highly complex application specific support processes and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferrred Experience

  • Experience serving as a technical SME and consultant to executive-level stakeholders
  • Proven ability to deliver technical presentations and recommendations to executive leadership
  • Experience with IBM TRIRIGA or a comparable enterprise real estate or facilities management platform
Additional Applicant Information

The expected salary for this position is $165,000 - $197,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law. This role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
