  • Knowledge of SQL along with the ability to develop and update SQL scripts is required.
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written required with the ability to manage project and issue tasks lists
  • On-call is required.

  • Previous ERP system experience is a plus.

Job Description
Education: Associates degree and two (2) years experience or four (4) years experience in lieu of degree
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
  • Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS) technical experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation preferred

Principal Accountabilities
Technical Administration
  • Responsible for providing technical knowledge in the support of software applications and various system environments.
  • Performs the analysis, design, building, testing, and implementing of computer programs and systems.
  • Demonstrates and applies information systems theory, processes and methodologies.
  • Reason: To effectively provide the technical skills required to successfully support system programs and applications that meet the technical requirements defined by MH.
  • Applies appropriate theories and procedures that meet the business objectives of the company.

Planning & Coordinating
  • Develops, prioritizes and executes projects according to established schedules and timeframes.
  • Maintains an effective level of coordination on all assigned projects.
  • Documents and reports on all plans, priorities and schedules.
  • Informs Manager on status of all projects and assignments in the form of weekly activity reports.
  • Reason: To ensure an effective method of planning and coordinating project management, as well as ensure that projects are completed according to set schedules, and reported to management on a regular basis.

Systems Development
  • Translates user systems needs into alternative technical solutions. Performs project reviews and process walkthroughs incorporating technical and business solutions that will enhance user productivity and department service levels.
  • Reason: To provide the technical skills required to successfully design, develop, deploy and maintain the technologies needed to satisfy user and applications strategies at a minimum cost and with maximum effectiveness.

Technical Standards
  • Acts as an advocate for setting and enforcing technical development, application support and information management standards within and outside of the information systems department.
  • Reason: To ensure that standards are established and followed consistently for the benefit of the company.

Application Support
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and techniques in supporting Application Analysts and Senior Application Analysts in development projects and complex problem solving efforts.
  • Participates in after-hours technical support by rotating call schedules on a regular basis.

Additional Job Description
  • This position is for a Senior Application Analyst for the ISD ERP Finance and Supply Chain segment. The position is responsible for providing IT application support for the Infor WMS (Warehouse Management System) along with several other IT applications in use by the CSC Warehouse. This position will require onsite support at the CSC. The ideal candidate would have previous IT application analyst experience supporting any Warehouse Management system.
  • This position will coordinate IT activities among several IT teams and IT software vendors. Installing application vendor patches, coordinating hot fixes and upgrades along with testing hot fixes and upgrades is a requirement.
  • This position will work directly with users throughout the CSC facility to understand and document issues and enhancement requests, liaise with CSC leadership, other ISD resources, and IT vendors to scope & prioritize them, and coordinate/assist with testing and implementation of solutions.
  • These solutions may include changes to configuration, code, data, or process.
  • The candidate must have a good understanding of data flows and application interfaces and have proven ability to support and understand an application data structure and workflows.
  • This position will monitor the integrity of data / interfaces between multiple warehouse systems using various reporting tools & systems.
  • This includes resolving the failures/errors timely as well as identifying & addressing root cause.
  • Knowledge of Windows servers is required.
