Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Appliance Repair Technician with strong communication skills and a positive attitude to join our team. This hourly position reports directly to the Appliance Supervisor and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances, while also performing minor electrical tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering reliable, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves).
  • Perform basic electrical work, including replacing switches, outlets, breakers, and ballasts.
  • Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory usage.
  • Follow safety protocols and comply with company and industry standards.
  • Provide customers with maintenance tips to help extend the life of their appliances.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with appliance technology and repair techniques.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written
  • 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing appliances
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Clean background and Drug free
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluency in English. Bilingual is a plus
