Job description

JB Appliance Solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced appliance repair technician. Stop working for an hourly wage and start working for commission. Up to 35% commission on all labor, depending on experience. Unlike other commission pay structures, we provide a minimum day pay or commission, whichever is higher.  The ideal candidate must have the necessary skills to systematically diagnose and repair all different types and brands of appliances. Part changers need not apply. Experience with sealed systems is a major plus.

The candidate must have:

  • 3+ years’ experience as an Appliance Repair Technician (HVAC is a plus)
  • Ability to present themselves in a professional manner.
  • Have excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to receive packages daily from multiple carriers like FedEx, UPS, etc.
  • Able to obtain a basic set of tools for appliance repair, specialty tools will be provided.
  • Good Verbal Communication.
  • Live within 20 miles of Raleigh, NC
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Able to utilize our customer management software, staff messaging software, manufacturer websites and apps, able to be comfortable contacting manufacturer tech support.
  • Ability to work autonomously most of the time
  • Willing to join a dynamic and growing team!
  • Sealed system experience a plus, must have a desire to learn.
