ACCOUNTS PAYABLE PROCESS CLERK - CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN, MN)

This position reports to the Senior Financial Accountant.

The AP Process Clerk performs daytoday invoice processing, matching, coding, and vendor communication. This role follows established procedures, resolves basic issues, and ensures timely and accurate transaction processing while supporting the broader AP team.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow established processes to accurately complete assigned AP workflows and ensure data integrity.
  • Perform invoice entry, coding, and PO matching for routine transactions while adhering to standardized procedures.
  • Assist with open invoice reviews and unmatched documentation cleanup to maintain timely and accurate AP records.
     

Qualifications:

  •  Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work independently.
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post high school classes or 2-year (AAS) degree in accounting or business.
  • Oracle experience. 

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.  The base hiring pay range for this role is $18.75- $26.25, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
