Description
This role is for developing the analysis pipelines and investigation platforms that anti-malware and threat intelligence teams use to fight bad actors.
Our team cares deeply about providing Apple’s customers with the highest standard in security and privacy on our products. We build large-scale systems that automate vulnerability discovery in Apple software and we build public-facing systems to collaborate with external security teams. This role is a manager role for a software engineering team tasked with building the cutting edge while scaling to the needs of our customers’ 2B+ devices. Security expertise can be developed on the job while you bring your world class software engineering experience.

10+ years overall experience leading software engineering teams
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years leading software engineering teams
Excellent skills for coaching team members and fostering partnerships
Experience in Python, Go, or Swift

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $206,200 and $356,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
