Job Summary:
LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking an IT Endpoint Analyst to provide technical support for personal endpoint devices and related software/hardware. The role involves troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, requiring physical handling of equipment and collaboration with IT teams.
Responsibilities:
• Provides technical support for the installation, repair, and maintenance of personal endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile) and related software/hardware used by Parsons employees, contractors or clients.
• Handles a range of troubleshooting activities to resolve identified questions, issues and problems with individual and group hardware and software, with special emphasis on issues that may require research and initiative to identify and resolve.
• Records and reports data about the resolution of specific issues, questions and problems and refers specialized matters to other Parsons IT teams.
• May provide standard system configuration administrative functions for office systems and subsystems of the Enterprise IT infrastructure, including monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• May perform installation and integration of IT Infrastructure throughout the Enterprise (Network Convergence, routers, switches, servers, storage, AV/Video Conferencing, etc) as outlined from the Infrastructure team.
• May provide operational support for small-to-medium-sized IT Infrastructure projects and systems for Parsons, individual projects and BUs.
• Executes the technical aspects of medium-sized and small infrastructure projects through installation and implementation, utilizing established quality standards.
• May work with team members and IT work groups to implement, maintain and troubleshoot specific issues, questions and problems associated with individual computers or related hardware.
• Will also maintain and support office network (wired & wireless), conference room A/V, and multi-function print devices.
Qualifications:
Required:
• High school diploma and 4-6 years of related work experience providing support to end users or working in an IT support role, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment typically up to 50lbs.
• Technical support for the installation, repair, and maintenance of personal endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile) and related software/hardware.
• Handles a range of troubleshooting activities to resolve identified questions, issues and problems with individual and group hardware and software.
• Records and reports data about the resolution of specific issues, questions and problems and refers specialized matters to other Parsons IT teams.
