Position Summary

Apple Chevrolet is seeking a Union Apprentice / Semi‑Skilled Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will be motivated, trainable, and eager to grow their skills in an automotive service environment under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs

Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and basic repairs

Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs under supervision.

Keep work area clean and organized

Complete assigned work efficiently and accurately

Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members

Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

Previous automotive experience or training preferred (dealership experience a plus)

ASE training for apprentices required

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on vehicle lifts

Commitment to quality and customer service
