Department: Physical Therapy Outpatient

Schedule: Day/Evening, 8 hour shift, Mon-Fri

Facility: CMME Orthopedics

Location: Auburn, ME 04210

Sign-on Bonus: up to $10,000!

Position Highlights:

  • Hospital Based Outpatient setting.
  • EMR integrated with all Central Maine Healthcare providers
  • Practice hours, Weekdays, 7 to 5:30.
  • Individualized patient care.
  • One-on-one sessions.
  • No double booking, no dove tailing.
  • Therapist driven schedule.

New graduate Physical Therapists are welcome to apply. Mentorship, training, and growth opportunities available.

Responsibilities:

Provides medically prescribed physical therapy services to evaluate, treat, and restore function while improving mobility, reducing pain, and preventing disability. Delivers patient-centered care in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices.

• Perform patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional improvement
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy

2. Current state Physical Therapy license

3. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
