Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Stock Associate to join our Blended team. This role supports efficient store operations by receiving, processing, organizing, and replenishing merchandise while maintaining a clean and orderly stockroom and sales floor. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, handles merchandise with care, and collaborates with the store team to ensure products are accurately prepared and readily available for customers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Receive, unload, unpack, and process incoming merchandise shipments accurately and efficiently.

· Inspect merchandise for damage, verify quantities, and promptly report discrepancies or irregularities to the Store Manager.

· Tag, label, fold, hang, steam, and prepare apparel and accessories according to boutique standards.

· Organize and maintain the stockroom so merchandise is secure, accessible, and arranged by category, style, or size.

· Replenish merchandise on the sales floor and ensure shelves, racks, and displays remain fully stocked and organized.

· Assist with inventory counts, stock checks, transfers, markdowns, and other inventory control activities.

· Retrieve merchandise for Sales Associates and customers quickly and accurately.

· Return merchandise from fitting rooms, checkout areas, and other store locations to the appropriate sales floor or stockroom location.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly stockroom, receiving area, and sales floor, including proper disposal of packaging materials.

· Follow all merchandise handling, loss prevention, safety, and operational procedures.

· Provide friendly customer assistance when working on the sales floor and direct product questions to a Sales Associate or manager as needed.

· Maintain regular and punctual attendance and perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous retail, stockroom, inventory, warehouse, or merchandise processing experience preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, shipment days, and peak retail periods.


REQUIREMENTS:

• General knowledge of retail operations, inventory practices, and merchandise handling procedures.

• Basic math and computer skills; familiarity with inventory systems, barcode scanners, or point-of-sale systems is preferred.

• Ability to accurately count, sort, label, organize, and track merchandise.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

• Ability to frequently bend, reach, climb, push, pull, lift, carry, and move merchandise and cartons.

• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to safely use step stools, ladders, carts, and other approved stockroom equipment as required.

• Must follow all safety, loss prevention, and operational policies.

• Must be able to work assigned shifts, including holidays, nights, weekends, and peak retail periods, as required.

• Must maintain a neat, professional appearance consistent with the boutique’s dress code and brand standards.
