About 606 Apparel Co.

We are a local Chicago based printing and apparel company that designs, manufactures, and sells Chicago themed apparel and gifts. Our name comes from the fact that every zip code in Chicago starts with 606. For example we happen to be in 60647.

The Opportunity:

606 Apparel Co. is looking to hire an account manager in each of 3 regions in the city to call on local businesses to wholesale our constantly growing catalog of CHICAGO themed apparel and gifts.

We use local Chciago artists as well as our internal graphics team to come up with great Chicago themed items and we product them in Chicago. For Chicago BY Chicagoans.

This is a GREAT opportunity for someone who:

* IS PASSIONATE about Chicago

* Perhaps is at home after a professional sales/marketing career

* Is willing to HUSTLE to make some $

Contacts in the following key markets helpful but not required:

* Gift shops

*Brand field managers

* Boutiques

*Chicago based corporations

* Hotels

We will offer full support as well as marketing which includes:

A) Catalogs

B) Product Samples

C) CRM to help manage opportunities

D) Customer service

There are two possible compensation plans for this position:

1) A Commission only plan that we think would be great for

A) Any independent reps that are looking to add a great line to thier current offerings

B) College students who want to learn about apparel, sales, and account managment

C) Someone who had a career in sales or marketing is now home and would like a flexible way to make some great extra money

2) A Draw/Base plan that we think woudl be great for

A) Someone who is looking for more of a full time position in Sales/Account management

B) Someone who had a career in sales or marketing is now home and would like to re-enter the workforce with some flexibility availiable to them.
